The staff was polite and welcoming, and the restaurant had a clean, cozy atmosphere. However, the low rating is due to the empanadas being excessively salty. This was my second time ordering food from them, and I had a similarly disappointing experience with the empanadas last year. I wanted to give them another chance because we enjoy supporting local small businesses, but unfortunately, the empanadas were overly salty once again. Additionally, the chicken empanadas had an off-putting smell. On a positive note, the spinach and feta empanadas were the only ones that were decent and not overly salty. I really love this place—the food is absolutely delicious! However, I had a bit of an issue last night after enjoying my order and ended up feeling quite unwell the next morning. Despite that, the food was so good that I decided to order again the next day. Unfortunately, that turned out to be a big mistake. I found a bug in my sofrito potato ball... and once again, I had stomach troubles. I truly adore the flavors here, but I'm not sure if I can take the risk of ordering again, which is disappointing. If I were rating just the taste, it would definitely be five stars. As for the quality, it varies; sometimes it's fantastic, other times there's a bug. And as for the aftermath... well, let's...

I won’t be ordering from here again. My orders are always messed up in one way or another. This time, I received buffalo chicken empanadas instead of the chipotle beef I wanted, and they weren’t even good. The plantains were undercooked and hard. I really wouldn’t recommend wasting your time here. I just wish there were cheese-free options available at other places. Looks like I’ll be skipping empanada delivery from now on. What a shame...

This is a fantastic empanada spot! However, for the price of each empanada (around $3-$4), I think they could be a bit more generous with the filling, and they seem a little small. The flavors are amazing, but I just wish there were more filling inside. Overall, I do enjoy Island Empanada. By the way, I highly recommend the spinach and feta, broccoli and cheese, or loaded potato empanadas! Those are my favorites! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

The empanadas are delicious; however, the Guava Cream Cheese Empanada is excessively sweet, with an overwhelming amount of guava and very little cream cheese. The plain chicken wings lacked any seasoning whatsoever.

Stop in to try the empanadas. So many choices to choose from. They are so delicious. The staff is super sweet. Definitely have to go back before I return to FL.....

They sell air in the empanadas, the best empanadas will be from a bakery, not a corporation…..

The Traditional Beef empanadas, the green sauce and the red sauce are very tasty.
