When I arrived, I spoke to the person at the register and explained the situation—the missed call and my difficulty getting through. The staff member seemed indifferent, and there was no effort to assist me. She didn’t even ask if we’d like a substitute meal (which we would have, fully understanding we would pay for it). I felt as though I was somehow being blamed for their inability to prepare my order. In the end, I requested a refund, which they processed promptly and provided proof of, for which I was grateful. I wanted to like this place so much reading the reviews. The prices are appropriate for what I ordered but the taste wasn’t there. The rice was mushy and not the right texture. The stew chicken was filled with peppers no other vegetables like carrot or potatoes just strips of red pepper. The browning sauce was underwhelming with no flavor. Bland and boring. The stewed beef was tough. The cabbage was salty and mush no texture did not enjoy. The plantains and Patty were good but if this is how the food is prepared daily it’s not the restaurant for me. And also don’t bag three large meals in one plastic bag no attention to detail for the guests.
I wanted to really enjoy this restaurant, but my experience fell short. The goat curry primarily consisted of bones, tendons, and fat. Honestly, I think I only managed to get about four decent bites of meat for $18! That said, the flavor was good, and the roti was excellent. I'm willing to give it another shot because of all the positive reviews I've heard.
I’ve visited this restaurant several times, and the food consistently impresses! I usually order either the curried goat or the oxtails, and I have to say, the oxtails are probably my favorite. Food is fantastic! Would give them 5 stars if I could. The staff is very friendly. Huge portions and reasonable prices. Chickpea Curry is prepared when ordered so make sure you allow for extra time. I think we waiting about 20 minutes for the food, and it was totally worth it!
Two years ago, I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant, but now I find myself dining here at least once a week. The food has improved significantly. The service is great and very friendly. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at 5 stars.

I already ate half of my meal, sorry! It was delicious. The collard greens were among the best I've ever had, and the jerk chicken was fantastic. It’s a laid-back spot with great food and service.
