I came here with my mother a few weeks ago as we have done off and on for 20 years. The last time however, we were harassed by who I believe was the owner. My mother caught his attention and so he took it upon himself to interrupt our dinner several times to talk to her. A mom out to dinner with her daughter wearing a wedding ring, was being hit on by some old man who kept saying “I like pretty women” and “ I just got divorced”. Our family has been going to restaurants in this building through multiple owners, but dropped in for Christmas Eve dinner this year to give them a try. Food quality was a pleasant surprise, and the staff were welcoming, even as we were the last customers to leave and they no doubt wanted us out so that they could go home to their own families.While eating out for Italian is not high on my list of cuisines, the Italian Oven is on my list for next time I feel the urge.
The Italian Oven is a fantastic neighborhood eatery that has experienced a revitalization since the original owner returned after a 10-year hiatus. The service is incredibly friendly, and they serve some of the best pizza around, along with a variety of other outstanding dishes. The owner has been a tremendous supporter of local arts since founding this restaurant over 40 years ago, making a significant contribution to the McLean community.

We had pizza. It was very good, probably the best I have had in this area. Delicious and not too salty, with a tasty bread. The atmosphere was also very good; we were there a little earlier than usual dinner time, around 5 pm, and received our food quickly. The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. The waiter was very welcoming and nice.Parking: It has a parking lot in front of the restaurant.
Everything was wonderful, the atmosphere is excellent, the food was absolutely delicious. We had the spaghetti and meatballs, the lasagna, I can't pronounce it but green and white noodles with chicken and mushroom cream sauce. The bread and oil with mixes olives was 5star. Everyone was so friendly. We will be back for Opera night on December 20th. Oh and the cannoli was fabulous also.
Food was great! I mostly love how they make their Alfredo Fettuccine with Chicken and the server was also a great customer service! I even love the environment inside the restaurant. Definitely recommend a friend if you want to try an authentic Italian food.
I have lunch here with friends at least twice a month and it is always excellent! Tha carbonara with wild boar is the best I have ever had and the calamari is perfect. Highly recommend and I'm getting hungry so I'm heading over there now!

We ordered a few items for an early lunch, and everything was outstanding. The bread on the sandwiches is light yet crispy, allowing the flavors to shine. The eggplant Parmesan is particularly delicious.
The food and atmosphere were great. I tried the lasagna, and it was absolutely delicious!
