What's good about the entrees prepared at this restaurant is that they do not put too much salt on the food that is prepared. The food is flavorful and well done. The prices need some improvement.It would be nice if this restaurant offered more authentic Greek food as if the food was actually prepared in Greece where there are fantastic entrees. We come here often and always order the chicken souvlaki. Having been to Greece the décor is a little cheesy, but they do have an electric fireplace which is nice and toasty on a cold winter day. Dinner comes with a greek salad and garlic bread. Entrée comes with rice, potatoes, mixed veg. Quality of the food is always good. It's quiet during the week but picks up on weekends, but since its large and has a lot of seating, you never have to wait. Caution for weekend parking - congee queen is next door and while they have designated parking for the restaurant it's always full. My review two years ago, said it was not as good as before. Now even more so. We tried this place again last night, and which will certainly be the last. We ordered pork and lamb souvlakis. They were awful, being virtually inedible.. I left half the lamb as it was so tough and rubbery that I could hardly cut it. I suspect it was a very old 'lamb' indeed. The pork was not much better. Oh well, the next time want Greek food we will have to go elsewhere. What a shame, as the ambience is good, although quite dated, and the octopus can sometimes be OK .
This was a take out order. We ordered one chicken soulvaki dinner, 2 lamb chop dinners and tzatziki with pita. The bad first...rice and potatoes were pretty bland and not at all enjoyable, the pitas were tough as tree bark and tasted about as good. The random pieces of broccoli, cauliflower and carrot were flavourless. The good...the chicken tasted okay (just), the lamb chops were cooked nicely and were probably the best part of the meals. There was a large amount of food, too bad most of it ended up in the garbage.

No zest in service - tired looking waiters . Food was so so . Ordered the lamb souvlaki dinner . Garlic bread didn't have a garlic taste . The Greek salad was the best part of the meal . The entree plate came with a small portion of lamb souvlaki ( warm temperature) and large chunks of cauliflower , broccoli and carrots along with roast potatoes and rice with tatsziki on the side .Will not go back again . Markham needs some fine dining Greek restaurants .
I went there with my family to celebrate my birthday it was fun and it felt like you were entering a restaurant in Greece the decoration, the atmosphere, the food the service was great.You have to have the Flaming Cheese Saganaki Opa!!!we tried almost everything the FIsh, the Hummus, the Calamari, the Salads everything was great you wont be disappointed
This is my boyfriend's favorite restaurant. He LOVES the Saganaki Opa! And honestly, so do I. Their chicken souvlaki is great and I love the escargot :) ...and the appetizer dips are really yum! I think it's family run; everyone is pleasant.
We just happened to find restaurant by chance. I had the small chicken souvlaki meal. It was just the right side. You receive a full size greek salad, which was very tasty. Will dine there again when in the area.

Took my family for dinner August 12, 2016. The meats were cooked nicely, but, the potatoes and veggies were bland, no Salt or spices or lemon.
We found the portions to be larger & better. More veggies & only a small portion of rice. Neither of us could finish our meals.
