We've been meaning to try this place out for a while, made the effort and was really disappointed. Firstly the restaurant looks like it needs a good clean, tables sticky, placemats covered in old bits of food and stains. Service was very average. Fish chips and mushy peas arrived, looked ok but fish batter soggy and greasy, the fish bitty and tasteless. The chips also tasted of old fat but on the plus side they were hot so the burning of your mouth took the taste away. Left most of it. 2 mini fish, 2 medium chips and peas and two drinks over £21!!! It's Cradley Heath not Whitby harbour. Never again.
23.04.2020 Brought 2 fish and chips today for my parents at a cost of just under £14.00. They were bearly warm, the chips must have been the last of the batch cooked and left standing, the fish was soggy. Why cook so much to leave standing I am sure people would rather wait and have fresh. Would never use again. Rob Timbertree
Poor service poor presentation when it came to chicken kebabs . chips very dry bits really . Third choice chippy but will never go there again . If your palet has the taste for poor takeaway then ok . 5ways chippy still shut and cradley high street orange chippy shuts early.
Asked for orange chips and they aren't. Asked for lettuce got leaves, and the menu online was completely wrong came to £17.13 however was charged £21.97. Got one slither of cucumber to top it off. Also pies aren't pukka. The one star is for the free batter bits. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Wouldn't recommend ordering the don't start cooking it till you arrive at the shop. Orders food told 15 minute arrived 15 minutes no food. Waited extra 40 minutes still no food. Already payed on entry to the shop. Told the to stick it. Avoid they am so rude
We went in Today around 2pm and have to say the tables needed a good clean looked like been wiped with Dirty Cloth. 2 Mixed Meat Meals and a Sausage and Chips. The Meat was COLD Chips half Cooked and Sausage tasted just simply Cheap rubbish
I recommend that if you are anywhere near this chippy you have to try it. I have never had better anywhere... Being cash only helps them to keep the price down as I am the one getting fat by eating the chips and not the bank lol
Take away mini fish and chips. Fish was 2 bites less than 5cm. Battered chips were not battered. Both were cold after 4 min drive home. Curry sauce was nice but needed to be heated in the microwave as also cold. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Such a lovely place, everyone is friendly, the fish is so nice, and the chips are delicious, I would go there everyday if I could!!
