This was once the best Chinese Takeaway within 10 miles of Bury St Edmunds.(limited to that moniker, by me not trying every single one outside of that radius) The experience was measured both quantitatively and by its quality, the portions were huge and the taste, something to talk about with others... enough to encourage others to spend money to experience the same. It is now a shambles, serving huge portions throughout the epidemic ...it now serves piddling examples, ghostly imitating flavours that came before. Due to the quality of its begone menu, i wouldve been happy with a third reduction in portion size whilst still paying the same.... im not sure if new staff have taken over recently...
I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I ordered a takeaway to collect on my way home from work as a birthday treat for myself and my children. When I arrived to collect my order, I was told that it had been given to someone else. They said they would re-cook it for me, but after waiting another 10 minutes, the person who took my order returned with the food and said it was fixed and ready for me to take. I refused to take it, unsure of how long my order had been with the other person. They then said they would cook it again, but at that point, I had completely lost faith in the quality of the food. We discovered this restaurant while looking for local takeout in the area. The food was delicious, fresh, flavorful, and just what we needed after a 3-hour car ride to our vacation home. The spring rolls were homemade, not the typical frozen ones that are usually microwaved in most takeout places, showing that they prepare all their food. The only thing to note is that they only accept cash or checks, so they may be a bit outdated with their payment methods.
had some food from our local chinese tonight which was really nice. asked for the pork in the chow mein to be big slices instead of tiny shreds and it was so much better and the bbq sauce was sent instead of sweet and sour which i asked for too. we enjoyed our meal, thanks for cooking our order exactly how we wanted it

This is the only Chinese restaurant within this area so when we moved into a nearby village recently and didn't fancy cooking this was our ONLY option. Given that I only really have noodles (chow mein) I was quite pleasantly surprised that they tasted pretty good.
We are absolutely thrilled with the excellent food and service at this restaurant once again. Despite being picky eaters, we were impressed with the freshly prepared and well-cooked dishes. We will definitely be returning in the future.
Had a take away from here. Really pleased with the quantity and quality of the food. Rang and placed my order and told would be ready in 10 minutes. arrived at the shop and it was waiting for me. will definitely use this place again
This has to be one of the worst Chinese takeaways in the area. Although the food was hot it was tasteless. This is the second time I have tried this takeaway it will definitely be the last.

Worst (excuse for) Chinese meal ever. Recently moved into the area a bought a big takeaway for a family get-together. But all meals we disgusting, and most of it went in the bin.
