Almost removed three stars but the overall flavor of the food combined with good service saved them. The meat combo plate is very good. Nice portion, hot and fresh, and combined with the tomato soup (why does every tomato soup taste like the one you get in the bin at Safeway? it makes for a complete lunch. The Cobb salad was the harder item to dissect. The dressing was good, plenty of variety in the salad but the Salmon that came on top was so small. It seemed to be about 4 ounces max which ends up being not enuf to eat. It was also not warm and not that juicy so maybe it was cooked earlier and put on top to handle the lunch rush? For some reason, of all the Jacks I freequent, this location is the best one making my salad every time. I will drive out of my way now to come HERE because those guys have the proportions down, just the best. I don't know how or why, but I order the same salad at different spots and it tastes best here. Wontons were half stale a Roseville Galleria yesterday, so I learned my lesson again. Thanks guys keep it up
Jack's Urban Eats is my salad superhero! You pick the salad options, and they whip it up behind the counter like culinary wizards. The salad bar is a super fresh and often times seasonal, and they're not stingy with portions. Oh, and the Urban Fries? More like urban legends unbelievably good! Even in the bustling chaos, they manage a food miracle with speedy deliveries.
We enjoy eating here but it's a guarantee $80 for our family of 5 (and that's with water only) so that means we don't come very often anymore. I usually go for the Jacks Classic Tri-Tip sandwich for $13. Tasty but not exactly filling. If this place was lowered their prices we would definitely come more often.
We always like Jacks for a great salad. And their salads never disappoint. They are fresh and good. With your choices of meat or tofu. Their sandwiches are also very tasty and they change their selections periodically, I appreciate that.
