This family-owned restaurant is Kosher and offers a wide variety of delicious food and flavors. They have a selection of imported goods from Israel, such as drinks and halva. The exterior may be small and modest, but don't be fooled - the food here is packed with flavor and deliciousness. The staff wears masks, even during times when it is not required, and they are very accommodating. They moved tables together for us near the air conditioning during a hot summer day. I highly recommend checking out this place and supporting their business!
While traveling and in need of a late lunch, I stumbled upon Jake's, a restaurant recommended by a Vegan friend. I was pleasantly surprised by the vegan options available. I tried Jake's signature Falafel wrap, which turned out to be the best I've ever had. I also purchased a slice of Pistachio Halvah, which was delicious. As my order was being prepared, I had a pleasant conversation with Jake. I wish his restaurant was closer to my hometown. I will definitely be returning for another delicious meal.
I went to this restaurant for the first time yesterday and I will never go back. I ordered a chicken kabob plate and was very disappointed. The food was cold, the tomato rice was terrible and looked like soup. The chicken pieces were very small and they charged me extra for something they claimed was included. I ended up paying more than I expected. I was so dissatisfied with the food that I threw it away. I do not recommend wasting your time and money at this awful place.
The food at this restaurant is consistently excellent. I have been a loyal customer for 10 years now. Even my picky kids can't get enough of Jake's rice, falafel, shashlik, and chicken kebab. My wife adores the baba ghanoush, and I always order the tabbouleh with every meal. Trust me, once you try the falafel, you'll understand why it's the best I've ever tasted. This place is great! We came to the spot to enjoy falafel (and we did)..... and ended up with the most delicious fresh juice! The French fries were awesome.... The owners were there and we ended up staying for a while talking to them. We will definitely come back again... and take pictures of the food!
The best falafel I've had, hands down. Super fresh and hot and delicious. I tried the turkey shawarma and falafel combo once and didn't like that as much as the falafel hummus wrap so I won't deviate from that order again. Today I plan to try the baba ghanoush. Delicious!
If you want to a down to earth, local join to eat good Mediterranean food, this is the spot. The owner, Jake, cooks all the food on the spot and genuinely cares about your day. The portions are right sized, the food tastes great.
