As many have mentioned, this place focuses on Gujarati food (a western state in India). We drove quite a distance to come here because of all the good things we had heard and were not disappointed. We tried their Methi Theplas, Khaman, Dosas, and Samosas and everything was very tasty. Most of all, we were impressed with their packaged snacks (African Chevdo to be specific), which we brought home and enjoyed for several days after the visit.
Been here twice.Vegetarian Gujarati food.Food is definitely good. Many dishes have sweetish tinge. Neat ambience. Pay first and eat concept. Limited quantities. Only issue is pricing and hospitality. All dishes are fairly overpriced compared to other Bay Area restaurants. They even charge $1.5 for extra sambar. Price would be the only reason I would think twice to go here.
The food is fantastic! It's slightly sweeter than other cuisines, which is characteristic of Gujarati dishes, I think. The staff here is delightful and very friendly. Everything on the menu is vegetarian, and they can also make items vegan if needed.
Visited here couple of time for good line-up of vegetarian delicacies from Western part of India even though this place is a little bit far from where I live. Used to be an admirer of their Poori and Thali. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Love this place. The restaurant isn't fancy but the taste of the food will Not disappoint. Food is very flavorful. Recommend the dabeli and Italian samosas.
Welcome to Bay Area Jay Bharat! The Mexican and Italian samosas are outstanding. The Kathiawadi Thali is fantastic, featuring authentic Bajari Rotla.
I had a mini Gujarati thali today, and it was delicious! The rotis were incredibly soft. I highly recommend this place. Keep up the great work!
