I've been accustomed to waiting a long time for food at this restaurant after years of dining here, but today was over the line. I placed an online order, which was supposed to be ready in 30 minutes. Given my past experiences, I anticipated a delay. My boyfriend arrived an hour later only to find that my food still wasn't prepared. When he requested a refund, the owner instead started arguing with him rather than apologizing or resolving the issue. Things escalated to the point where the owner went out back and returned with a pistol because he didn’t like how the conversation was going. Went to Jeanos and ordered the fried snapper with rice and beans with plantains and it was delicious!!! Went back the next day and got this chicken which I believe they boil it then fry it with white rice, bean sauce and plantains. The food was absolutely delicious. The service was great and they were friendly. We walked in and got a table right away and the food came quick. We will definitely be returning very soon .
I have been visiting Jeano's Restaurant for quite a while now, and it has become one of my favorite places to eat in Brockton! I've never had a bad experience there. The last dish I ordered was goat (cabrit) with rice, beans, and plantains. The portion of the rice and beans was generous, and it was cooked to perfection. This was the worst experienced I had with this restaurant bad customer service. I ordered my food at 7:30 it was 9:20 I was still waiting for my food. I called the store and the guy told me to wait had me on hold until the store closed. I had to canceled my order and get a refund. I highly would not recommend this place for someone to order from.
This restaurant has been around for years, and they've recently revamped the interior. The food definitely makes the wait worthwhile. However, the manager could use some improvement in their manners.
