Came on a Saturday to hear the band. Got there at 7 put our name in for a table was told it would be a 1 to 2 hour wait meanwhile more than half the tables were empty. After an hour we could hear another patron talking to the hostess and we heard the hostess tell one of the servers that she was calling The people on the wait list for a table but they weren't answering so she was holding the table for these people that didn't answer their phone. The server told her that you call the person and if they don't answer you hold the table for 5 minutes and then you see the next person in line after the server cleared this up. It is so nice to sit on the water and enjoy a decent meal for a good price. I love live bands but often struggle with them being too loud. The set up here has them far enough away that the sound isn't overwhelming. The wait staff was really on top of our needs and we didn't have to wait long for anything. I only ordered a burger and fries so I don't know about all their food but the burger was definitely great. Finally, order a pitcher of any flavor sangria! You won't regret it. Parking: Parking is a bit crammed but that is just the reality of most places in lake hopatcong. I think they do well with the space they have but I do recommend arriving early when there is still decent parking.
If you want to look at the water with your pups, beautiful view of the lake, and pet friendly on the deck. Now for the food... We just ordered wings. I've never been to a place that gave me ALL drums. Plus, there was one that did not resemble a wing at all. Some of the worst wings I've ever had, honestly. Anyway, when I said something, the server just said, huh, that's odd, they usually make sure it's 4 of each. Needless to say, I didn't get any flats. So, that to me is not good customer service. Plenty of other places on the lake much better.
The View, food and drinks are fantastic. Great place to hang out and listen to good music. Boomer, Lenny and Allen have made the Jefferson house very enjoyable spend a day or evening on the lake and the bartenders are awesome, we love Sami! We love going on a late Wednesday or Thursday afternoon, for good music. All of the bands that they book are fabulous, great entertainment… our favorite is Say Uncle!!

Beautiful location. You can either come by boat and park on the dock or bring your car although parking is difficult to find if the lot is full. Exceptional service. They seat based on how many servers and cooks there are, not how many tables are open.This results in quality service.
The atmosphere is fun and relaxed, with live music and an outdoor bar that offers stunning panoramic views of the lake. Although we only stopped by for a drink on the deck, I can't wait to explore all that Jefferson House has to offer in the future.
Great lake spot for food, music, and sunshine! Our favorite lake spot! The owners and their family of staff work their butts off to make sure their customer’s are happy. Boomer, Lenny, and Allen are doing a great job!
Best lake front dining in Northern NJ! The staff, the vibe, the FOOD and the live entertainment are all top notch!
