I eat Jersey Mike's about 4-5 days a week and I must say, my favorite place to visit is the one in Shrewsbury! The atmosphere is so welcoming as soon as you walk in. They know me by my full name, smiley faces all around and always fun conversation! Theyeven have music playing about surf boards! I feel like I'm eating my sub right at the beach. They must have a professional bakerworking in the back because wow, oh wow is their bread always the freshest! And the cookies? Don't get me started. I eat atleast two chocolate chip cookies every day to help keep my butt big. I can't even remember the last time I went to any other subshop, it's just that good!
My first time at Jersey Mike's Subs in Shrewsbury. I love cheese steaks and I wanted to try a Jersey Mike's version after seeing an advertisement. My cheese steak was made fresh on the grill with onions, peppers and white cheese. Friendly and efficient service from start to finish. My Jersey Mike's Cheese Steak was made in record time and hot off the grill. The cheese steak rated middle of the road compared to famous cheese steaks places in the Philidelphia area, but the price was right, and my cheese steak hunger was satisfied.
The staff could be friendlier, as there are times when they come across as smug or a bit aloof with customers. We visit to enjoy the food, especially when it's prepared correctly. I haven't found another Jersey Mike's that matches the level of service on South Queen Street. That location is consistently professional and genuinely cares about their work and their customers.
Jersey Mike's is about as close as I've found to genuine New Jersey subs since I left that state in 2015. Every time I have ordered at this one here, the staff have been pleasant, and my order was ready when I arrived. I've never had a problem with any of my orders, either.

I ordered a giant club sub and was disappointed to find that the bread was hard and there was very little meat. Additionally, the staff member who served me seemed quite unfriendly and kept rolling her eyes at everyone. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience.
Visiting this place gives me a welcome break from my struggles with clinical depression. The service is always outstanding, and the food is absolutely amazing!
