During our lunch visit to Jim Pete's Pizza, we enjoyed generous servings of tasty food. The salad dressing stood out for its exceptional flavor, and we were happy to discover it was sold at a reasonable price. The service was good, and the food lived up to our expectations. Although there was a slight odor in the restaurant, it didn't detract from the overall experience. The dressing is available in quart containers or even gallon jugs, and we bought four bottles to take home. Overall, the food was excellent, and we had a wonderful dining experience!
Usually every time we visit Chicago it was really good, but this last visit, the food was so salty even the pizza. We had lasagna, spaghetti, and a large pizza all of it was so salty. We were shocked and most likely will not visit the place for awhile. Another problem with the place is that it only has 1 bathroom. It is a decent place to hold events but if they were tohost it, they would have more than 1 bathroom (1 stall). The staff is nice and the place is decent but I wouldn't hold an eventthere.
I first visited Jim Pete's in August 2017 to celebrate my father's birthday, and I had a wonderful experience! The staff was friendly, prompt, and attentive to our needs. We returned just last weekend and, despite the restaurant being relatively empty, the food and service were still exceptional. The rib meat was tender and easily fell off the bone, the Parmesan aubergine was exquisite, and the serving of white fish was quite generous. We will definitely be coming back!
Jim Pete's Pizza is an excellent spot for dinner. The menu offers delicious options, and I highly recommend trying the lasagna. The food, service, and atmosphere all deserve a perfect rating of 5. Parking is convenient with plenty of free spaces available, both in the parking lot and on the street. A great dining experience overall!

We are so lucky to have Jim and Pete's as our neighborhood Italian restaurant. The food is authentic and delicious. We always get the artichoke casserole and calamari. The risotto is out of this world. My husband enjoys the arbiatta sauce, although it is too hot for me.
Great atmosphere and delicious food. Service was excellent. Dined in for lunch. Price per person: $30–50. Food: 5 stars, Service: 5 stars, Ambiance: 5 stars. There is plenty of free parking available.
I had take out tonight and it was awful. The meatball sub didn?t include any cheese and the bread was very stale (my tooth hurts from tearing it! .
LOVE this place!!! Have had them cater everything, parties, weddings, baby showers, best food. I drive from Oswego now for it....worth it!
