We were in the area and actually planned to get tacos in the same plaza, but when we pulled in and saw Jimmy Thai, we chose to go here instead! Best decision ever!! We had Pad Kee Mao, Basil Ground Chicken, and Thai Fried Rice with beef. All three were delicious!! For the Basil Chicken we got in the Thai Spicy level which was perfect for me. Thai iced tea was also just how I like it! Waitresses were so friendly, frequently checked on us. Jimmy himself greeted us at our table both when we arrived and when we left. I could tell there are a lot of regulars based on the way staff were interacting with them, so that speaks volumes! Definitely going to become regulars ourselves!!
This is a great little a Thai restaurant. This was our 2nd time and it didn't disappoint. Ambiances are low key but, it works. Family friendly restaurant and also like the fact they have reasonable hours so the staff could get to there family on time. Food is absolutely delicious sticks the authentic flavors. We were party of four and we all had enjoyed our food. One of the dish off, the Golden noodles with Shrimp, it has eggs in it but didn't expect it to be very egg forward!
I am sitting at a restaurant in Bangkok, which has received a Michelin Gourmand award for five years running, appreciating Jimmy Thai in Deerfield. I ordered my favorite Thai dish, Khao Soy. While it was excellent, rich and delicious, the one at home remains my favorite expression of the dish. The broth is sublime, and the mix-ins are the perfect balance. We are lucky to have Jimmy Thai! Awesome Thai restaurant! We have been going here for a couple of years and it is great! My wife has celiac disease, they are very accommodating and she never gets sick. Jimmy and the rest of staff are incredibly friendly and the service is very good. We often do take out and they even meet you at the curb. Highly recommended! This place has the BEST pad thai I’ve ever had. I once got the wrong order, and within five minutes, the owner called to apologize. When I went back, they gave me the correct dish and insisted I keep the original, untouched one as well. Incredible food, amazing service. Highly recommend!
