The quality of the food was poor, and it did not meet my expectations at all. The service was lacking as well; there were issues with my order that weren't resolved satisfactorily. As for the atmosphere, I can’t comment on it since I was dining at home, but based on my experience with the food and service, I wouldn't recommend this establishment. So to start, I live 2 minutes from the pizzareia in a large complex. There have been multiple occasions where my order has been messed up. I always get my pizza well done, and it NEVER comes out well done. I ordered a Buffalo chicken pizza, and it literally had not one piece of chicken on it. The food always comes luke warm and is never hot. I used to like it, but the last 12 months it has been very disappointing. There are not many good delivery places in the area, so I have stuck with them. I am now going to just drive 20 minutes out of the way and go to Rockaway for my pizza.
Ordered via slice last Friday. Large plain pie, small order of wings, chicken caesar wrap and cavatelli with broccoli. The pizza was outstanding. Great crust and cheese, maybe a little light on the sauce but still 5/5. Wings were kinda weird, very big and the breading was strange but they tasted good. The chicken caesar wrap came with hot chicken so the veggies were pretty gross and wilted, need to specify cold chicken next time. Cavatelli with broccoli was average. Will definitely be back for the pizza, may or may not try other dishes.
Not only the best pizza I 've had since moving back to NJ, the homemade soup, mozzarella, and fresh ingredients make this our go to place for a comfortable meal. Who knew you could find a gem like this by listening to your brother say, Best pizza I 've had in the last 25 years . Anthony, keep up the good work you 've got customers for life!
Having been born in Italy and traveling there almost every year since moving to the U.S., I’ve enjoyed the best pizzas from Naples to Sicily and many other celebrated places, including New York City. I can confidently say that Joe and Anthony’s Pizza lives up to the highest standards. Highly recommended!
My coworkers and I have made Joe and Anthony's our go to pizza place!!We LOVE their garlic knots and their sauce is phenomenal!!!!! I will not go anywhere else.
