Johnny's Shawarma - Tisch resevieren

Usually went to the Armenian Kitchen, but it’s closed Mondays. Googled “Shawarma's near me” and Johnny’s came up. LOVED IT! Tons of food, all of it amazing. A combo plate each for my teenage son and I and a chicken shawarma wrap for my wife, and a samosa each. I was the only one able to eat the samosa because I’m having the other half of the dinner for lunch tomorrow.All of it was excellent but a special shout out to the hot (not very) garlic sauce. Like an angel crying on your tongue.Never going back to the Armenian Kitchen, this place is much better.

Interestingly I found this place via Google reviews and decided to give it a try. I have frequented other shawarma joints in the GTA but have to say: Johnny 's Shawarma is definitely the best in the city... hands down! Friendly (home style) atmosphere and always clean. Every time I eat one, tastes like it is the first time you can taste the quality and care put into each bite. Super juicy/creamy (extra garlic requested) on the inside, but crispy and crunchy toasted on the outside... Always looking forward to coming back! ?

Ordered the chicken shawarma plate here and the take out box was huge! Its the size of 3 of my hands, side by side. The salad and wedged that came with it was delicious. There were an abundance of garlic sauce and hummus. There were tons of chicken which was great and not overly loaded with rice. It also came with Naan. My only complaint is that the chicken was dry and the meal needed hot sauce. Overall I am really satisfied with this meal and super full.

Really unfortunate as I was looking forward to the food.The rice was so old there was this nasty smell coming from it I had to scrap the meat I could off to put into a wrap just so I could make my money worth it at least. appreciate the comp wrap JS staff: Please work on preparing fresh rice or if not possible FIFO (first in first out).Patrons: if you see JS rice looks mushy it’s probably old so please correct them or pass.Thanks. Johnny’s is seriously good shawarma. The restaurant is very clean and the food is excellent both in taste as well as in price. I got the mixed beef/chicken shawarma plate cause both are very tasty. There was way more meat than rice on my plate so you know they aren’t skimming on the protein. I’ve been to many shawarma places across the city and Johnny’s is amongst the best. Highly recommended!

Randomly in the area and had heard good things about this place from a friend so stopped and tried it. The food was fantastic! I’m a shawarma snob and I loved it. Great toppings, great quality meat. The staff was friendly and they even have a rewards program. I would have given 5 stars but it is pricy as shawarma goes. Try it if in the area, you won’t be sorry

One of the best shawarma places in town. I have been visiting here quite often for past 8 years ever since started working locally here. It's bit pricey but they are tasty and addictive. It's always busy and highly recommend to try it!

This is a phenomenal shawarma place. Good service efficiently, delicious, reasonably priced and friendly. Guy in the America hat is so friendly and personable. So glad I found this gem on the east end, highly recommend. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

This shawarma place is really good . The portions were very good . The price is good also . The sauces were very good also. The staff were very nice and helpful. Jean Iskandar was nice .
