Johns Of Appledore

Wow! What a remarkable experience of culinary delight. We absolutely loved The Load in Instow, and it did not disappoint in the least. They offer gluten-free and dairy-free options, along with a fantastic vegan hot chocolate. The coffee was excellent too. If you're in search of meats, cheeses, bread, olives, ales, and more, this is the place to be. It's a lovely spot with outstanding service. We could have stayed there to eat and drink all day!

During our month in Appledore, John's was our go-to spot for food. Our favorites were the sun-dried tomatoes with garlic and olives. They also offer a wide variety of vegetable bases, including milk, high-quality pasta, and fresh produce, as well as some unique items like cream, hummus, gyozas, and more. They even have an amazing honey from Devon. My partner particularly enjoyed the pasties, trying both the vegetarian and steak options.

I visited this charming little shop during my stay in Devon. I was assisted by a very helpful young lady who guided me in finding the best bait to use while fishing with my children. She was incredibly polite! I would definitely recommend this place.

Nice deli and lots of lovely things to see. Probably a bit pricey compared to usual shops ... depends how much you want to spend. But worth a look certainly

for some eggs immersed, a little poorer, but very happy. top notch deli and friendly staff. good quality food costs money, so I have no problem with it.
