John's Restaurant - Tisch reservieren

We were in Napanee & walked the river edge with our grand daughter & enjoyed a fine spring late morning. My wife mentioned it was close to lunch time & why not check out John's. A recommendation that came from our oldest son who had been there for the first time weeks earlier. We entered & were told to sit wherever we liked. John came over & greeted us and expressed how cute our 4 yr old grand daughter was. The waitress a young pleasant lady looked after us well throughout. The food was great. All cooked from scratch. Once done we went to pay our bill & John came over & asked our grand daughter to come around behind to work the cash register. He pulled out a chair for her to climb on infront...

If you like to find that "hole-in-the-wall" restaurant, this is the place for you.The restaurant features that old style diner decor. Booths up one side and down the middle with stools at the counter.The prices are very reasonable, and the hamburgers were homemade. The owner does a different take on french fries. He uses small potato wedges that he deep fries until golden brown and served with the various platters that he has to offer.The menu has a bit of everything from sandwiches to full meal dinners. Also, there is a kids menu.A suggestion for the restaurant goes. Eat early so that you can walk off the sufficient meal portions to check out what their main street shopping has to offer.Als...

Dining at this charming, old-fashioned diner felt like a blast from the past. The menu offered a variety of beloved classic dishes. I opted for a toasted bacon and tomato sandwich, which was absolutely delicious – just as good as anything I could have made at home (and I consider myself to be a skilled cook). The sandwich was generously filled with bacon. The service was friendly and welcoming. I will definitely return to this spot again in the future.

I used to take my mother to this restaurant because we enjoy John and Denise's friendly service. The food is affordable and John shares stories from the past when he owned Morrison's Restaurant. Highly recommended! Danny W Kemp, President of the Kiwanis Club of Kingston.

Time warp. $4 for breakfast! I'd say it's about 50/50 you're going to enjoy the food, but even when the food is undercooked, overcooked, or otherwise poorly prepared, it's still an enjoyable experience. John has to be over 90, and he's still doing pretty well.

John's is a classic diner-type. It's not fancy but is clean & the food is good. John is incredibly hard-working but always takes time to talk to the customers. If you're looking for a great diner breakfast & a hot cup of joe at cheap prices this is the place.

The food is great, the prices are incredibly affordable, and John is extremely kind. However, the waitress could benefit from finding a new job. I'm not sure if she was just having an off day, but the service was lacking.

Excellent lunch, talked to John about childhood memories of him when he owned Morrisons in Kingston. So glad we Took a drive and stopped in!

Best breakfast around for a great price. Highly recommended for anyone interested in good food in a quaint place.
