My go-to dish is the vegetarian ginger beef bowl with half cabbage, half rice (no kimchi and no house sauce). The ginger beef is flavorful, the dish tastes fresh, and it's very filling. I also recommend trying their vegetarian ham banh mi (without mayo, I had it spicy with sriracha and jalapeños). Adding vegan mayo at home is a nice touch, but the sandwich still tastes great without it. Joju offers rare vegan-friendly options in Elmhurst, and I appreciate the variety and quality of their menu. I absolutely adored the Beef Bulgogi Bowl and Kimchi Fries at Beef #4B. Both dishes were incredibly delicious and satisfying. The portions were generous, so ordering more than one dish will likely leave you with leftovers. The Thai Iced Tea was also a standout, not overly sweet like in some places. Overall, a great dining experience.
To enjoy some quick and tasty Vietnamese classics, place your order at the counter. The fries were amazing, with a deliciously crunchy texture and flavorful toppings that took them to the next level. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning. Plus, they have a bathroom inside!

We are always impressed by this restaurant and it is our favorite place to get takeout. The #5B Vietnamese Caramel Pork Bowl is a household favorite and is absolutely delicious. The portion sizes are generous, I can usually make two meals out of it.
I appreciate the available options at this restaurant, but it would be even better if they could provide a wider variety of choices. Updated from my previous review on July 18, 2022.
Very quick service! Food is alright, good flavors but the banh mis bread was a bit stale and the soy Soy-Garlic Glaze Chicken Wings were not that special. Their viet coffee is great!
One of my favorite neighborhood restaurants, I always suggest it to my friends. I especially love their bowls, but the Plain Fries are also deliciously crispy, which I enjoy.

Bulgogi bowl and lemongrass chicken bowl are my go to dishes. So much flavor. The spring rolls and fries are also surprisingly crispy even after delivery. Love this place.
The white peach green tea with tapioca was excellent.
