The Jolly Coachman Pub in Pitt Meadows, BC, Canada, is an authentic English pub-style restaurant that has been serving guests since 1977. It was established by one of the teams behind the Elephant and Castle and the British Pavilion at Expo 86. Locals in Pitt Meadows proudly consider it their own. I ordered yesterday the salt and pepper wings and they were absolutely coated in salt. I've never seen so much salt on my wings! it's like a swallow seawater! the personal was friendly. that's my only complaint. I know bar food can be salty, but it was literally so salty it burned and taken away from the taste of the huh.
I recently moved to Pitt Meadows and have been searching more places to eat here. This Pub has been great! I've had the burger which was everything I hoped for and the Prime Rib special, also amazing! Sarah was my server both visits and she's friendly and fast. This is my number 1 go to now! I'll be back!
The waitstaff is quite friendly, and the food is generally good, although it feels a bit pricey for pub fare. The beer selection is quite limited, with only two basic IPAs available in the craft category.
Traditional English pub with delicious grub. Friendly service. Recommend the Yorkshire pudding English sticky toffee pudding. Too much pudding you say? None sense! Sooo good. Also sports! On about 23 tvs.
The food here is fantastic! I highly recommend the Yorkshire sliders and Baja tacos. I really miss the seafood platter they had a decade ago, though.
Always a good time at the Coachman. Food is always good and the daily specials are great. Staff is friendly and efficient.
