I started off on here, prior to making a reservation at Jolsha, by reading the reviews on the restaurant and noticed the amount of positive/excellent reviews but as always, I opted to read the negative reviews first from 1 and 2 stars. They highlight what to look out for and are critical but the majority are from the COVID era of 2020 to 2022. Very few are from 2023 and the present day, which most of which are positive of 4 and 5 stars ratings. Well my review is another 5 stars rating. The food was delivered promptly and was hot on arrival we are only 5 minutes down the road! Everyone enjoyed their meals, however I thought my lamb bhuna was rather lacking in flavour and very very mild, but there was lots of tender meat that had been cooked well. Everyone else enjoyed their chicken tikka masalas (note these contain almond which is clearly shown on their menu). We enjoyed our poppadoms (tried the spicy one too but can't recommend) but unfortunately 2 of our dips were missing, that we had paid for, so dropping another star. Was up in the area for business and stopping locally. Dropped in on a monday night. The staff were attentive, and also gave excellent recommendations! I had poppadoms with chutneys (great) followed by tandoori chicken wings (awesome) followed by the recommendation from the staff of gurkha tikka. This was PHENOMENAL! If it isn't the best curry I've ever had then it is definitely the best one I can remember. You have to try this curry house.
Jolsha have a restaurant in Norton, and we have had excellent food both dining in and delivery. This is the first time we have ordered food from the Marton outlet. We spent over £42 on food for two people and what we received can best be described as garbage. Why does this restaurant believe it can get away with serving such poor poor food?

Ordered a takeaway. It was warm which was disappointing. The chicken tikka starter salad was limp and brown the actual chicken was nice though. I will not be going back. We ordered a Balti, it was full of veg and very sweet in taste no spice whatsoever. I wish I had saved my money for the extremely substandard food we received.
Visited last night for a meal, service was extremely slow, I understand they were busy. Got chicken tikka starter which was cold. I got a lamb madras which was nice however I found a nice black short hair in my food so then I couldn't eat the rest of it and spoilt it for me I don't think ide return here
We have eaten at Jolsha many times and the food is always excellent. So when my family needed to cater for a private function we had no hesitation in booking Jolsha. Manager Rahat and his team ensured we had a flawless event. Highly recommended.
This restaurant is nicely decorated and kept clean. The staff were attentive and polite, and the food was excellent. It's the best Indian food I've had in years. Thank you for a lovely evening, we will definitely be back.

We ordered the banquet and it was perfect. The food, service, and cleanliness were all excellent. We even received a complimentary birthday cake.
