I booked a weekend high tea for family lunch but my expectation was quite low after reading some mediocre reviews on Tripadvisor. For some reason I felt the need to purchase the most expensive burger on the menu. I've never paid almost $30 for a burger in my life, but it's a hotel bar and prices are deliberately inflated to exploit international tourists in order for our country to maintain a sustainable prosperous economy - so it was time to make my contribution and support the service industry that carries all of us! The MOOD & INTERIOR of the place is quite futuristic with European influences - it is Swiss after all, even my burger had Swiss cheese! Mein Mann und ich waren in Swissotel für unseren Jubiläum und natürlich mussten wir das Café im Erdgeschoss ausprobieren. Toller Kundendienst und dienen schnell. Das Café hatte moderne Interieur. Unsere Freunde und ich genossen auch ein hohes Tee-Buffet und wir liebten nur das Essen und die uneingeschränkten Getränke. Am besonders liebte ich all die Schokoladen-Desserts, die sie servierten. Ich werde definitiv auf diesen Ort zurückkehren.
Ich glaube, dass dieses High-Tee-Menü nur für die Weihnachts-Weihnachtszeit war. Aber es lohnt sich, wenn es weiter ist !! Ich kann mir nichts falsch oder negativ von meiner Erfahrung vorstellen. Service war aufmerksam und höflich, und das Essen war großartig mit Möglichkeiten in einem Buffet wie Fleischkuchen, Pavlowas und einem umfangreichen Sortiment an t2-Tee-T2-Tee . Wenn es nicht so teuer wäre, würde ich häufig zurückgehen!
My husband and I stayed at Swissotel for our anniversary and naturally we had to try the cafe downstairs. Great customer service and were quick to serve. The cafe had modern interiors. Our friends and I also enjoyed a high tea buffet and we just loved the food and unlimited drinks. I most especially loved all the chocolate desserts they served. I will definitely come back to this place.

I believe this high tea menu was only for the holiday xmas season. But it's worth going if it's on!! I can't think of anything wrong or negative from my experience .. service was attentive and polite, and the food was great with options in a buffet such as meat pies, pavlovas, and an extensive range of made-to-order T2 tea. If it weren't so expensive I'd go back frequently!
Been here for high tea twice and both times they had run out of scones! Who has a high tea without scones? Not a huge variety on offer here. There are better options in the city for a similar price point.
The ambience is nice though.
