If you enjoy paying for subpar food, this is the place for you. On July 26th, four of us visited for lunch. My friend and I ordered the beer-battered cod sandwich, which consisted of two small, disappointing pieces of cod. His came with a spring mix salad that was completely bare—no tomatoes, onions, or anything else. I inquired about the Mediterranean orzo, which was served in a small paper cup that barely held two ounces. Thankfully, it was mushy. My wife ordered a fried flounder sandwich that looked anemic and tasted like a frozen product. She also had the orzo salad. Lastly, my friend's wife had a field green salad with grilled chicken. Where do I begin? Oh my gosh, I absolutely love this little gem! I’m sad that I only recently discovered JT's, but I’ve already been there three times in the last two weeks. I’m going again today, Sunday, September 4th, and spending Labor Day there with friends for one last outing this season since they’re closing tomorrow. The staff is fantastic, the food and drinks are excellent, and the atmosphere is just right. I’ll really miss this place when I move to Georgia. I’m excited to introduce JT's to my friends today, and while a couple of them won’t be able to make it tomorrow, many will take our seats. Thank you for the wonderful memories!
This restaurant was quite disappointing. Although they were busy, waiting 45 minutes just to be acknowledged at the bar is unacceptable. The only positive was the bartender, who was very friendly. We placed our order as soon as he arrived, but it took another hour for our food to come. We ordered fish tacos and mussels. The fish was overcooked and charred to the point of being dry and hard. The mussels were mostly closed, and the sauce didn’t match the dish. I won’t be returning.
Jt's On The Bay is run by hardworking people giving it their all! The food on the menu is decent, but the drinks are truly outstanding. Plus, there’s a live band adding to the great atmosphere. It’s definitely a cool place to hang out—stop by for a drink and enjoy the good vibes!

It was pleasant to watch the boats on the water, but several had their engines running while we were eating, which spoiled the experience as I was choking on the fumes for about 30 minutes. My advice is to order takeout and find a scenic spot for a picnic instead.
If you are interested in having a beautiful meal on a beautiful day, try the Black Sea Bass with a lemon fennel risotto and a brocollini surprise addition. Fabulous flavors, seasoned perfectly and well balanced. Get it while you can!
We had the salmon Cesar salad and south shore Cobb salad. Both were delicious. Service from the servers is very good and bar staff service is also very good. The view is worth the trip to sit out on a beautiful sunny summer day.
It's actually JT's on the Bay, which is linked to JT's Cafe in Nesconset, NY. The outdoor seating area is fantastic, and the staff are very courteous. They also have a lovely menu.

Jt's On The Bay truly impressed me near the end of the season. The menu offered excellent dishes, the music was delightful, and the atmosphere was vibrant with wonderful people.
There are two aspects to the experience. The lunch scene is chill and expensive($140 for 2 with tip). Night with music is great. Worst slaw ever, nice servers.
