Wir beschlossen, im Restaurant im Erdgeschoss des Hotels zu Abend zu essen. Uns fiel auf, dass überall tote Fliegen lagen. Die Fensterscheibe war voller toter Insekten. Wie auch immer, wir bestellten uns beide ein Cordon Bleu. Innerhalb von 2 Minuten kam unser Essen. Das Cordon Bleu war ungekocht und roh. Wir reklamierten und der Kellner entfernte unsere Teller. Nach 5 Minuten bekamen wir neue. WIEDER war das Essen roh und nicht gekocht. Keine Entschuldigung vom Kellner, Koch oder Manager. Wir entschieden uns, das Restaurant zu verlassen und gingen zur nächsten Pizzeria. Wir reisten durch die Schweiz und übernachteten in mehreren Hotels. Aber dieses Restaurant ist mit Abstand das schlechtest...
The restaurant is neat and classy.The waiters were attentive. The guys was actually standing, pacing, walking around, looking and waiting for customers to ask him something.I ordered the swiss sausage and changed the side to french fries. It was good but even better if it was served warm. Or maybe the weather was too cold the food turned cold immediately. I had a glass of white wine which was okay as well. My friend had the swiss pork snitchel that comes with fries as well. Cant say how it tasted for her but she did not complain.
We actually stayed at the hotel and decided to eat in. The restaurant is top flight and the food and service both excellent. We tried the cheese fondue and it was terrific. The service is impeccable and what you would expect from an upscale restaurant. It's a little expensive, but worth it in my opinion. The hotel is a great place to stay and a 3 minute walk from the train station, which is a nice perk if you are going to the Jungfrau. Highly recommend hotel and restaurant.
Lovely hotel with a nice mountain view. Nice rooms, minimalist bathroom, lots of cable content, including 20 English channels (most have had 2-3). Good included continental breakfast with eggs. Great dinner options but that's a different review.

The restaurant does not have a huge menu but all meals we had are well cooked, delicious and always excellent service. They had a special menu for Christmas and New Year in addition to their seasonal menu. All ingredients are locally sourced.

lovely breakfast in antique surroundings, beautiful fresco painings on the walls around the dining room - has not changed since my first school visit in 1965 - original Swiss charm.
Highly professional set up with experienced staff. Strong on venison in a variety of dishes. Try the coupe with hot berries if you have a sweet tooth.

Really enjoyed it. Rey good service and very good food. After a day of hiking this was a well deserved meal and met all expectations .
The breakfast comprised mostly of cold stuff, but had a decent variety. The service was quite efficient and professional.
