k and m is great. I've been here for years. the owner and the staff there are very friendly and know how to quickly and efficiently to busy times. I never had to wait for more than 5 minutes, even on Friday nights when there are many people waiting. the hot box eating is good, and not old. this can be because they have many customers and the hot box eating is quickly turned around. the B.B.Q chickens are always well done, I like that, but others don't like it. I really like tabouli salad there, as it is fresh and good. this place has character, the shop fitout is from the 80s. it could even be of the 70s, I'm not sure there are old laminex stand-style tables and seats. but they are really on...
Very good service/ polite staff. They provide good old Aussie beef burgers and chips, chiko rolls and array of other fried foods battered fish, prawn cutlets, dim sims). You can phone ahead takeaway orders. Plastic chair seating available outside but better to eat at...home.
used to make a good business with the good old Aussie style burger. now it's american rubble. sugar glazed buns, mcdonalds ketchup, cheap and evil pickel. they probably wonder why they don't get anywhere near the turnover that the previous owners had.
I have been a regular at this restaurant for over ten years. The staff is always lovely, and the food is even better. Plus, it's all at a good price. I highly recommend trying the Portuguese chicken burger meal.
