When my food was handed to me, I was shocked by how small the bag was. As I unpacked the contents, I realized there was very little food inside. The samosas lacked sauce and were greasy with overcooked potatoes. The chicken dishes were coated in oil, making me reluctant to dip my naan in the sauce. In an attempt to salvage my meal, I tried to shake off the excess oil and eat the chicken with the naan, but it was still too greasy. Ultimately, I ended up throwing it away. This restaurant is the worst choice for Indian food. I can't understand how anyone could enjoy eating here or leave a positive review. I will certainly not be ordering from here again and do not recommend it to others.
Im mostly here for the food and don't really care about the ambience (nothing too special just , the regular old people in the back ground having their discussions). The food in general is pretty good, barring the fish, beans and Briyani. For Indians/Pakistani's, the food will be milder than what you would usually expect. All in all, it's decent. (been going there for around 9 months off an on, only had one bad experience with the Chicken tikkas)
The 'kabab diner ' name attracted us to the place and we decided to eat there. The interior is very casual and it is a good value for money. The owner had just taken over the establishment a month ago and was very enthusiastic so we asked him what we should eat. He suggested the beef nihari which was excellent! The meat was really soft and the tandoori roti was very tasty. Overall, a good casual lunch experience
This is a hole in the wall type place so don't expect fancy decor etc. It is also a popular stop for taxi drivers. I have been here quite a few times when intransit in NYC and each time the food was very tasty and the staff very pleasant. I have tried a variety of their dishes. I introduced a friend who lives nearby to this place and he loves it and has become a regular.

We were drawn to the kabab diner's name and decided to dine there. The atmosphere was casual and the prices were reasonable. The owner, who had recently taken over the restaurant, was enthusiastic and recommended the beef nihari. It was delicious, with tender meat and tasty tandoori roti. Overall, it was a satisfying and enjoyable casual dining experience.
At the first moment you arrive in this restaurant team give you an agreeable feeling. Very congenial stuff, it is a nice place to hang out with buddies or with your date. delicious cooking, talented chief cook and stuff, reasonable cost and attentive service. Warmly recommended.
food is spicy, place is decent, Nan is usually Over cooked but that is how I like it! staff is overworked and by the end of the day still smile at you, I think if your looking for a Manhattan five star yourating fouling yourself! a place to enjoy with the right mind set.
The owner is welcoming and the food is wonderful, especially the chicken kabab and lamb biryani. The atmosphere is clean and tidy, with excellent customer service. I would definitely return and highly recommend this restaurant to friends.

Very good food!!!! The Palak was AMAZING and the people who work there were so friendly and helpful. They really made us feel so welcome. I love that they have employees who speak multiple languages. Would definitely eat there again.
