an inconceivable load along the spice alley if they did not know that they cannot easily say that it is a chocolate business from outside. so much was written about the ice sandwich, but I got no one, instead was much more attracted to their other chocolate offerings. simple but stylish presented with interesting sorts. I have a block of matcha green tea white choc and a soft chocolate nougat bar. the Matcha block had a good intense hit of matcha, a good offset to the sweet white chocolate. the nougat was soft as they bite, but still has a little chewing, and not sticky to the teeth. will be back to try the ice sandwich.
Went there when i was in Sydney last month I was lost for almost 1hr just because of the address on internet wasn't updated!!! Me and my friend were shocked when we arrived at the wrong address following the location that the shop put on internet.... I was expecting its gonna be super nice but after i had a bite i feel like its just a normal ice cream. Nothing special in flavour, just the outlook that seems to be something interesting Honestly a bit disappointed But service was good, staff's being patient and friendly.
it is a very small chocolate shop that has been thrown away in the kensington street. I still have to try their chocolate products there, but I got their ice sandwiches green tea and blueberry cheesecake. it is a bit expensive for what the product is; essentially only a thick plate of ice between two chocolate cookies. however, she is very tasteful and a joy to eat.
if they had tried these fantastic Meiji ice cream stickers from japan or iconic, tasteful ice sandwiches from road tractors in singapur, the ice sandwiches from kakawa simply fall flat. there is neither an acceptable matcha taste nor a soft and silky texture. also the rocky ice was not made fresh.
