After reading a review, I decided to try this restaurant myself. It's the ideal way to wrap up a morning spent at sea. We ordered the regular size, which includes 3 scoops of fish and 2 sides. We chose salad instead of white or brown rice. The regular size portion was quite generous. We went with 2 scoops of salmon and 1 of spicy tuna, which were very satisfying. The prices are very reasonable. If you're in Dana Point, this is definitely a must-visit spot.
Since a kid, Kamea Poke has been my go-to poke place before a fishing trip; it was my first poke place I've tried. After I rig up at Hogan's next door, I cannot describe how amazing the Poke is. Although they serve in boxes and the prices are high, they give you not only the perfect quantity but also the perfect quality Poke. In fact, there are so many sides to choose from, such as miso soup, which comes with your meal. Highly recommend coming here ?
I have been coming to this restaurant for many years because of the fresh food and fair prices. However, today we were disappointed. One of our friends ordered a regular size portion that was larger than all of our large size portions. The waitress gave us only a small spoonful of protein. I don't understand why she is working here. When I complained that the portion was not enough, she argued that other people pay more. I want a refund for my meal.
Excellent poke plate/bowl. Very fresh tasting and decent portions for the price. Its not very often that I've had macaroni salad as a side for poke but it was lovely.Parking: Parking was limited in the two seperate occasions we went here but I always found a spot right away. Awesome little spot, first time trying Poke and I wasn't disappointed, service was quick and to the point and ingredients tasted fresh and good quality. Price was a bit high, but you definitely get your money's worth with the portion sizes.Food: 5/5
I was in the area for work and felt like some poke. With a quick search, Kamea Poke popped up. The quality of their food was very good so I decided to come back for seconds! The staff is very friendly as well.Food: 5/5
The lady at the restaurant did not pay attention to our order and ended up putting a lot of onions, ginger, and spicy mayo in our food. We were disappointed overall. Rating for the food: 3 out of 5.
