What a great little hidden gem on the Cnr of the kingsway and Hay St in Caringbah. The menu is varied and just a little bit different offering all the usual favourites plus little surprises like smoked duck and prawn tempura. Make sure you are not in a huge rush because all the sushi is made from scratch and is therefore fresh, fresh, fresh - the prices are good and service simple but friendly and efficient. Being a bit of a sushi lover for around 35 years I have to say that this is some of the best sushi I've had!!!!
Was introduced to Kanji Sushi by a co-worker who spoke highly of it. It's jam packed all the time! And that is because the food is DELICIOUS. I am so hooked on it, it has become a Friday lunch tradition and I look forward to going every week. In fact, I could eat it more if it was a little closer to work. I am yet to try something that wasn't fresh or tasty. Love this place and highly recommend it!
good quality sushi. but not cheap. Kanji is a small Japanese esserei with a somewhat authentic feeling. it's pokey. near no seat. simple menu. chefs who seem like the right thing. / sushi is made fresh and the tiger roll tasted. not really a place to dive in. / I would come back.
great sushi joint in the shire! all dishes were amazing without the need for extra soy sauce. the salmon was amazing and the tiger role was made beautiful. the takoyaki balls I wish they had a more crunchy outside was still very pleasant.great prices and service. love it!

Really large rolls at good prices. Lots to choose from. There's always a line out the door at peak times however it moves quite quick. Few seats on the inside however most people order takeaway.
Are here tonight whilst waiting for a friend to arrive at Carenbah hotel. So tasty and so fast. Would come back any day, if I lived in Sydney this would be a weekly go to. Thanks
Made fresh while you wait, up to about 10 minutes, but worth the wait. Delicious combinations of flavours. Not realy a restaurant. only a few chairs and 2 small tables.
Have been going to this restaurant for months. Love it. Order and they make it while you wait. Never had an average meal. Best you will find. Highly recommended

It's great to have a place in Caringbah selling fresh sushi. The food is well made and good value. The restaurant mainly caters to take away orders.
Ate here a few times. Sushi is always fresh, delicious and is priced very well. Highly recommended to all.
