Karakade Thai Cuisine

Just ate here for the first time and loved it! I got takeout, the yellow curry with chicken with a side of sticky rice and the mango lemonade. Everything was amazing! The yellow curry is listed as mildly spicy on the menu and was rich and flavorful, but not too hot. The chicken was tender and delicious. The mango lemonade was also delicious and super refreshing! The portions were generous enough for me to have some left over for lunch tomorrow. The service was attentive, but not overbearing. Any questions I had were answered thoughtfully. The food was ready in maybe 10 minutes, and I was offered water while I waited and the drink I ordered as soon as it was ready. Karakade will definitely go...

I’m not sure why some people have posted poor reviews, but this place is great. It’s a small seemingly family owned and operated restaurant. The woman taking orders is very busy but still kind and thoughtful. I have celiac disease and a severe fish allergy, so eating out is always a challenge. The food was so delicious, spicy and flavorful. I didn’t have any reaction and will be returning often. Dietary restrictions: Celiac, fish and seafood allergies.

Finally found a taste of home in San Francisco! This place serves up the absolute best Thai Southern cuisine I've had in the bay area. Their Krua kling and Kang tai pla are must-tries. Every bite is an authentic flavor that transports you straight to the streets of Thailand. If you're craving genuine Thai Southern food, look no further! Highly recommend ?

I was very satisfied by my take out order here! I got the Pad Thai, Southern Fried Chicken, Crab Fried Rice, and The South Fried Rice(spicy but Great! which are flavorful with good amount of flavor. I received zero service (they used to have a waiter who was awesome) and then when I walked up to pay the owner demanded a tip Ha! What happened to your waiter who provided service? Weird…. won’t be returning.

Great little Thai restaurant. Red Curry and Spicy Basil were excellent. Quick and friendly service. Looking forward to trying more of the menu soon!
