Our family loves Mediterranean food and this authentic bakery was great. Their pita sandwiches for takeout were big and tasted great. The sandwiches were all between $5-$8. We bought a lot of meat pies, spinach pies, hommus, and baba and my family ate everything in a couple of days. They are one of the best Mediterranean markets/bakeries in Metro Detroit. If you like this type of food, do yourself a favor and go here.
Watch out for the old man he's a big Time thief. He charges extra. That's why all the grocery on the shelf is expired. Because he stole from all his customers and they don't go there anymore. I caught him stealing from me. Over charging me on a prices. And if you get things that he have to put it on the scale he puts his hand on the scale to make it weight more so he could charge you extra by the pound. He's a thief.
On 17th sept evening 6 pm we ordered for a chicken combo for 4 and specifically mentioned all chicken and no other meat. At home when we opened it and found chicken and beef. We had guests and had to trash the whole dish because of beef. We called on Sunday and the gentleman on the phone just said bring it back. He offered no apology. It's unfortunate that they are in the service business and can be so insensitive.
Used to go here all the time.. But quality has gone down. They gave us meat that was old, and the soup had a smell to it. We actually got sick from the food. The management used to be so nice but whoever took over is so rude. Not going back. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
This is a fantastic spot to purchase bulk spices and fresh bread. My favorite is the Iraqi bread, which is a great deal at 2 for $1. The staff here are very friendly, the prices are reasonable, and they make excellent baba ganouj.

The selection was excellent, and the hot food was fantastic! I ordered both the beef shawarma and the chicken shawarma, and they were delicious. The staff was incredibly kind and friendly.
