The Mumbai restaurant in Nyon is a real ticket for a taste journey to India, without even leaving Switzerland. As soon as we enter, the scent of Indian spices welcomes us, promising a rich sensory experience. The interior design is modern and refined, far from the opulence often associated with traditional Indian establishments. The seating, including benches and armchairs, is designed for comfort, encouraging us to relax from the moment we cross the threshold. The menu is balanced between Indian cuisine staples and culinary discoveries that add a touch of excitement to the menu. Each dish served is a treat for the senses: the curries are creamy and spicy to order, the portions are generous...
Pretty terrace under the arcades. The tables are well spaced. The menu is limited but offers typical dishes. Good products, the dishes are well served, tasty sauces, great nanns cooked to order. Magnificent shrimp as a starter. The cooking is perfect and the flavors incredible. The butter chicken is very good but not exceptional. The only homemade dessert is crazy. We had a blast. Small downside on the wine list. Despite a fine selection of Swiss wines, our 4th choice had to be the right one, the others being no longer available.
This is the best Indian restaurant I have ever had the opportunity to eat at. The dishes are refined and well presented, the cocktails and the wines are excellent. It's worth the detour.
