My husband planned a family graduation celebration for me at Kiki Gardens this week. We had 13 of our family members attend. We had a fun time together, as well as enjoyed Kiki's Buffet. Their buffet had great selections and varieties of entree items, including pork, sweet and sour pork, shrimp, deep-fried prawns, clams, chicken wings, almond chicken and more, as well as noodles and veggies. I really enjoy the sweet and sour pork, the deep-fried pawns and the undon noodles. My husband and granddaughter liked the chow mien noodles. Of course all the family enjoyed the dessert table. My favourite was the coconut macaroons covered in dark chocolate and the cream puffs; others liked the cheeseca...
Ordered food for take out. The egg rolls were awful, I'm guessing they were deep fried from frozen, certainly what they looked and tasted like, very flat and very little filling and the crust was not even fully cooked through. The almond chicken was dusted...with what appeared to be almond dust, definitely not an almond in the entire package. The chicken chow mien passed but was bland , and sweet and sour pork was just your run of the mill average dish. The biggest disappointment was the egg roll and almond chicken. Will never order from here again, we assumed that because they had been in business for so long that the food would be better.
Service was great, very friendly and accommodating staff. The service was also very fast. A decent amount of food for the price. I ordered the Mushroom Chow mein for 15.95 and it will last my at least 4 decent sized meals. I ordered sweet and sour sauce on the side and it was delicious. I highly recommend going out and trying it at least once with your family!
we came for a lunch buffet as it was displayed on the internet site, but there was no buffet at all. the restaraunts were practically empty. only one server/cashier in the entire device. no sticks, water only on request. eating was in order, but overpriced....Debit machines demanded at least 15% with three steps to 20-25-30 % I would call it a dying place. We ordered steamed pork spareribs and black bean sauce and it was all just pork fat. The house special chop suey was ok but the barbecued fried rice was dry and the pork was hard as a rock. We ate what we could and threw...the rest away. This is not something we normally do. It was terrible.
No matter having the buffet or ordering from the menu the food is excellent. Great staff as well. The buffet as well attended to, fresh food being added continuously keeping up with the demand of customers dining. The owners take pride in their restaurant and...it definitely shows.
I have eaten here twice, both times with the whole extended family. Great place for a large group. The buffet both times has been in my opinion the best in Vernon. Fresh, tasty and a real nice assortment. We also got a discount for our large group prior to booking.
