During my visit to Pho King in Oakland, I ordered the Bun Bo Hue, Spring Rolls, and Egg Rolls. The Bun Bo Hue consisted of Hot Spicy Soup with Beef, Pork Blood, Pork Cake, and Vermicelli. Overall, the food tasted okay.The Bun Bo Hue had a decent flavor, although it didn't particularly stand out. The soup had a good level of spiciness, and the inclusion of beef, pork blood, and pork cake added some variety to the dish. However, I found the taste to be average, without any exceptional elements.Regarding the Spring Rolls and Egg Rolls, they were satisfactory, but they didn't leave a lasting impression. The flavors were acceptable, but I felt that they could have been more flavorful and distinct...
wow, this is the best Vietnamese restaurant where I was. we had bung cha, mi quang and banh xeo and all were spectacular. he shared that he went to the bungalow cha restaurant in vietnam that obama went, and his is much better. haha cute owner. Also interesting is this pho king since 30 years here and the other pho king at the lake has no connection to its restaurant. they just took his restaurant name.
We stopped by this place for lunch today and got lucky to beat the rush! Excellent food with large porition and clean environment. We sat outside in the covered patio. I had Vermicelli with Fried Shimp wihch tasted great with fresh ingrediantes. Others had Pho which was also well recieved. Would recommend the place for quick lunch. There is also ample parking around the resturant.
eating is so bombed. chicken soup is delicious. I highly recommend it. are great and worth. also her fried rice is phenomenal. my friend loved it. I have my mother a ochsen sponge and she loved it too. this is the best place for Vietnamese. they can also dive in. it is very spacious and clean bathroom are clean. no bums around it is good.

Pho-king amazing! Fresh, great quality, the kitchen knows it's stuff. No shortage of Vietnamese restaurants around here, but this place is head and shoulders better than the others in the area. Pretty busy though.. be prepared for a short wait at peak times.
Food... Very good. We tried many dishes and they are all good or very good. Except perhaps the Cha giò.Service... Fast and professionalAtmosphere... Spartan décoration. Tables are quite well spaced between them with a patio for outdoor dining.
Went to lunch with my friends here for some authentic Vietnamese food. The rice dishes and Pho are good. However, the Vietnamese crepe were not crispy but rather oily. I will try something else next time.
Never a disappointment...always great phò every time. Soup base is not oily or salty. Worth the drive if your craving for authentic phò! Lots of seating, outdoor and indoor dining.Food: 5/5

Found this place on the way to Berkeley to drop off my daughter. The price is cheaper compared to Irvine,and the portion is very generous. But the flavor is average.Food: 4/5
Pickup two bowls of Bùn Bò Hêú togo this morning (July 18, 2021). It's opens! Finally! I love the way they make the bún Bò Hêú here. It's the best in the Bay Area.
