Recently moved to the area and was recommended to try this place out. I was not disappointed, friendly helpful staff, lovely homemade pizzas and dog friendly. Although the pub itself looks a bit dated the friendly staff more than made up for it very attentive and nothing was to much trouble. Georgia Dan and Toni are a credit to the pub and Greene King. Toni explained how to order on the app or at the bar and the different drink and food offers, Georgia who served my food also looked after my dog so I could visit the toilet and Dan brought a water bowl and some treats for my dog. Could not fault a thing, all three went above and beyond. Thank you
This is a fantastic spot for a family dinner! They have a large menu with something for everyone, and the wood-fired pizzas are usually excellent. However, during our recent visit for the Liverpool game, our pizzas were a bit burnt. We didn’t send them back because it took a while to receive them, so we just left the crispy parts. The servers were very friendly, and the kids enjoyed themselves while we waited for our food. It’s a lovely pub, and we will definitely return.
Nice pint of Guinness here, reasonable prices too. Plenty of outdoor and indoor space. At the weekends they have a DJ on inside. If this is to your taste then the music outside might be. Adding to my review the fact that the real ales have been off both times I have been recently. Once on a Friday and once mid week. I like to try new ales. {sad_face_emoji}
The other night, the service at the restaurant was excellent, and Matthew at the bar was fantastic. He was quick and very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this place!

Nice pub, great atmosphere attempted to eat but 3 dishes that we tried to order where out of stock? Bizarre, so we had the pizza 2 for 13 quid, hot fresh and tasty
Nice enough food. Quiet at the time we went. Needs to be clearer of the offers didn't stand out on the menu for the 2 for £12.99
