Excellent! Best pancakes ever had from any place that did not serve it tasting raw or not cooked all the way through. They used real butter which makes the world the difference. My wife ordered the eggs over-easy. I took one star off because they clearly don't know what over-easy means. Theirs came with yolk over-cooked solid, not slightly runny as the name suggest. But over all, we loved the food and the place and the table service! We just moved into the neighborhood so this is a nice find. Looking forward to being regulars here for a long time for sure!
As the menu reads, the best halal food in town. They have a good selection of soul food as well as lots of sandwiches/burgers. Food quality and service are pretty good. A neat place to go with family and friends. Owner and staff are cordial, helpful and polite. Phone orders are sometimes messed up. Be sure to verify and double check.

Do not eat anywhere else in Newark. The best food you’ll have at such a good price. Best thing is beef short ribs with the 2 sides and cornbread for $17!!!!! Make sure you go no plans after you’ll be so stuffed you can’t get up

I love this place. eating is very good and the staff is always very nice. I like too many articles on the menu to find them here, but fried fish and greens were my favorites.
The food is good but baby be prepared to wait I ordered while I was in New York City on my way to Newark got here 30 mins later still no food I am steaming
