King's Seafood regularly does fantastic, fresh, and authentic yum cha. It reminds me of old Hong Kong trips with my parents, with all the hustle and bustle of trolley ladies trying to yell over the noise. Oh, and if you've been to old Hong Kong, then the service would remind you of those times too. For all the delicious food, the service can be incredibly patchy. The younger restaurant managers are incredibly polite and welcoming, showcasing old-school Asian hospitality, but there are some that would look down their nose at you and pretty much ignore your order. Went with a mate during the week to get the seafood special deal. It had an Sliced Live Abalone and Sliced Beef for hotpot. It also has a lobster with noodles. It was for mon to fri nights at under We all traveled over to get to the restaurant, and they said they are too busy to apply the deal. I was like...wtf? The staff was very rude. Funny thing was, they said we can still order the products but we will have to pay the menu price. I was in shock! I dont get how businesses can do this! They advertise elsewhere to attract the customers, then when you order they tell you they cant do it. There is no chance I will be going back there!
My mother invited me here as a birthday treat, and it was perfect since I had been craving Yum Cha for months now I love Yum Cha, mainly because it's just a specific taste that you really can't recreate at home. We ordered the usual prawn dumplings, as well as some pork and chive dumplings. I also just had to get the eggplant and fish dish, which was really delicious and flavourful The total bill for six dishes came to roughly which was pretty affordable for two people. Definitely will be back to get that Yum Cha fix the next time I crave it!
We used to like this place a lot. The yumcha and the service used to be good. The old man used to greet us and he was very friendly especially with kids. But the staffs now are different and dislike especially people with children. She prefer old people (especially cantonese speaking). She will stared at children rudely . They are not family friendly anymore. Not a good place to celebrate birthday too. Such a shame

Really bad service there, no smile, we waited a long time, and they just give the table to a group of which come after us. They encourage us to sit upstairs, which doesn't have any food carts. Not customer focus, not sure how they survived this long at Eastwood. Please don't go there. Bad experience!
seafood of the king's restaurant is a really traditional yum cha restaurant, and is one of the better in the environment. the staff is really friendly and eating is always very tasty. make sure they go earlier on the day as many dishes will be sold out on the afternoon.
this place has a big yum cha row to lunch, but go early, otherwise they will run out of the camp. the food is on the expensive side, especially when they eat dinner in the evening just before the Chinese New Year (not worth it).

fantastic tradition yus cha restaurant, all real aromen that they can expect from typical canton location the only real disappointment is the ticketing system and keeping the dame.
Great place for group dinners, the table can fit up to people. Very friendly service and the food came out in good time. Will definitely come back again!
