Kinza Sushi and Asian Izakaya

We are staying at the Comfort Suites and wanted to get late dinner closeby. We don't want burger or American food. I had my boyfriend in charge of looking at different places close to our hotel while I drive from Merced. He suggested sushi and found this place which was walking distance from our hotel. We got there at around 840pm and got seated right away. They have A LOT of items to choose from. I didn't know what to get. And then one of the sushi makers told us we had 10 more minutes before their last call for orders. We ended up ordering: Heart Attack this is the bomb!!! I highly recommend ordering this Sexy Lady Roll this has a kick of spiciness. Love the burnt onions that it comes with...

Only been here once on a whim and it is now my go to sushi spot in the SCV. First of all, the service and overall vibes were immaculate. We sat at the bar and Alex and Victor were our sushi chefs. Both of them, but especially Alex was super attentive, asking multiple times how we are doing, and how the food is. I could genuinely tell he cared about his service and about the customers he serves. The place itself is small enough to feel super cozy and intimate especially at the bar, but large enough that when they need, they could accommodate people at their upstairs area. I could truly eat this sushi every. single. day. It is that GREAT! In my opinion, it is the best sushi in the entire Santa Clarita Valley. The location is always busy, so keep that in mind when coming here. There are outdoor seats, as well as some seating downstairs, and more upstairs. The waiters and waitresses are all so friendly, and if they're in the mood, they'll do a sake shot with you if you offer it to them! ; I would totally recommend coming to try this sushi spot out, you won't regret it!

I have visited Kinza multiple times for Lunch and Dinner. The food is good the service is always good, but typically very spicy which is the only reason I gave it 4 stars. I don't mind some spice, but it seems like almost ever dish has a spicey designation next to it and lights you up. Sometimes they can modify the roll and make it mild. My favorite sushi spot in SCV (besides Light Healthy). Every roll I've had here has been bomb and tasted fresh. They have a huge menu selection, as well as specials. Their prices are a bit more expensive than others in the area, but absolutely worth it! They also have a great lunch menu. I've gotten the three hand rolls that comes with soup and salad for around $20.

Always good, always busy. Was nice to see they added more dining space by expanding to outdoor patio seating (it had been a few years since I last visited lol). The sushi/sashimi is always nice and fresh, and waitresses very friendly and attentive. Parking is always an issue here, though...limited spaces and people do not know how to park correctly.

This place did not disappoint! Food and service was on point delishhhh! Every roll was their unique flavor and the fresh wasabi just gave it the extra flavor It's a little wait but worth it! Highly recommend
