Même au milieu de la semaine, le buffet du midi est populaire auprès d’une clientèle parmi laquelle j’ai compté quelques indiens à turban.Cette cuisine du sud de l’Inde adopte le style de la région de Kerala qui incidemment, signifie le pays du coconut.
Il n’est donc pas surprenant que le coconut vienne s’ajouter aux autres épices indiennes que sont le curry, le gingembre, la cannelle, etc. pour aromatiser les différentes composantes de ce buffet ( viandes, poisson, fruits de mer, légumes, soupes et condiments) qui donne envie d’y retourner.Offert au prix imbattable de $17 plus taxe et service.Un des meilleurs rapport qualité / prix que je connaisse.

Being in Ottawa for the 150th Canada Day celebrations, we wanted to experience the varied cuisine the capital had to offer. We (1 veg + 3 non-veg) went with no expectations of having anything different than what most Indian restaurants offer and boy were we pleasantly surprised ! Everything we tried was good and different - from the shrimp coriander appetizer to the lemon rice, kozhi kodanadu, beef curry, egg mappas and veg thali with avial, parotha, and veg kurma. They have the staple of South Indian delicacies like dosa, idlie, etc too that we saw many enjoy in the restaurant. Definitely recommend and will make a stop on our next visit.

Went there on a Friday night without reservations. We shared the Onion Pakora ($7) to start, which was delicious and plenty for two. For the main course we had Kodanadu Chicken ($20) and Neelagire Mushroom ($17) which were both delightful. Each dish comes with a choice of rice or 2 Nan. I heard another diner commenting that his selection was a bit heavy on the oil which was true for the Chicken (and very common with Indian restaurants) but it wasn't so heavy as to detract significantly from our enjoyment of the dish. Service was friendly and efficient. Quantity was more than enough for the two of us.

In my experience it is rare to find a really good, authentic South Indian restaurant like this. Our family loved the buffet with excellent food and a large variety of veg and non-veg choices. Outstanding were the salmon curry and butter chicken, but everything was good. A short walk from the center of Byward Market, Kochin Kitchen is a comfortable sit-down restaurant with attentive and friendly service, run by people who obviously take pride in their business. Heartily recommended.

We had a wonderful evening meal while visiting Ottawa! Wonderful choices, Butter Chicken, a Lamb Dish, vegetables, rice and a different take on Naan, made with potatoes! Beautifully served, excellent service, nice wind and beer selection! Well appointed, relaxing and delicious!

We came here for lunch on a hot day. Air con was on and that was a great start!! The food was full of flavour, it was a buffet and still it tasted and felt freshly cooked. Wide varieties for both vegetarian and meat eaters. Cheap drinks as well. Would definitely return!

This restaurant serves southern Indian food, it's a small simple restaurant. The food was good but the lamb was not the best, the staff was very nice and the price was little high. If you craving for Indian food at Ottowa then this restaurant. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

T'es bon Resto indien, aux plats bien épicés, parfois pimentés, les massala sont excellents. La carte des vins est par contre limitée (clairement pas leur spécialité !)

We have enjoyed several lunches here and their buffet never disappoints Great value for money and interesting variety of flavours. Highly recommend
