I am a regular guest of Mr. and Mrs. Mettler who are genuine down to earth people and lovely hosts.The historic building is set in the heart of the charming village and a walk to the characteristic church in the vineyard is a must before or after a lovely meal which will feature the freshest fish from the lake carefully prepared in many different creative ways.The local wine, especially the "pinot gris" is well accompanying it, the whole being served in the pleasant Gastsube overlooking the lake.The train passing just in front is not disturbing but rather adding the charm of the place with the nearby station with hourly connections bringing you back to the place where your walk in the vineya...
We stopped by chance at the restaurant kreuz and it was a very nice accident that guided our feet. the room is beautiful and warm, the comfortable seats, the boss is welcoming as well as the waitresses. The food was superb, the asparagus cream was excellent, the sweet and droopy intercoasters to be desired (very the best I've ever had with a cooking for once at a point!), a very tender and tasty roasted cabri. desserts although simple were perfect to finish this very good meal. we will certainly return on a next route to the direction of belfort taking the new transjurane A16.
auf unserer reise mit dem cabrio z3 sind wir noch einmal im cross ligerz zurückgekehrt. Wie immer war das Essen sehr gut. schnellerer und freundlicher Service. Preis/Leistung absolut i.O. werde gerne wiederkommen.

we were at lunch. the restaurant is known for fish dishes. we had once zander and once egli baked. both dishes were excellent. highly recommended. service very courtesy and friendly. will be happy
good eating at a reasonable price. the restaurant the guests at sun on the terrace did not have to be noticed. pity, the offer would have been good. if the selection is rather short
the three-course menu (including bielsersee krebssuppe, eglifilet and meringue chantilly) was very good. the service was very attentive and the price/performance ratio was correct.

war mal wieder in ligerz. Tolle Lage, leider fand ich die Qualität des Fischessens nur mäßig. Fisch war zu fest gebraten. Schade.
