Absolutely delicious! For appetizers, we indulged in some Middle Eastern delicacies: Fried Halloumi, Arayes, and Hummus with pita. Everything was fantastic! The halloumi was wonderfully squeaky and salty. The arayes reminded me of a Mediterranean quesadilla, minus the cheese, and who can resist hummus? I went with a group of over seven people and ordered the lamb chops for $25. This dish came with four pieces of lamb, some vegetables, and the choice of rice, lentils, or fries. We visited this family-owned restaurant for a mid-week lunch. My sister, who is half Armenian, has been searching for a place that truly serves the foods of her childhood. The food at this restaurant was excellent, featuring subtle flavors that weren't overwhelming. We enjoyed several appetizers along with our main courses, all for a very reasonable price. Despite it being over an hour away, we've decided to make this our birthday tradition for my sister. Interestingly, seated next to us was a man and his 94-year-old Armenian mother, who he mentioned only ever eats out at this restaurant.
Service the service was slow, e.g. food came >40mins after ordering; I had to go to the counter to ask for service every time. The worst part is, the menu says my entry comes with vegetables and I confirmed with the waitress when ordering, but it ended up not coming with vegetables, when I asked the waitress said it's expected to not have vegetables. They eventually gave the vegetables, but is it that hard to admit the mistake? Food fish is not fresh, kebab is good. And FYI there's a 4% credit card fee IRS should definitely audit it. they charge $2/person for water.
Looks like we're in the dining area of a house, very cute. There's even an enclosed outdoor area. But it was too hot to sit outside ; There was a large party taking up half the space. Luckily we made reservations. They were pretty boisterous. Service was excellent. Susan was very helpful as we've never had Armenian food. Wow!!! It’s my first time dining here and I’ll definitely be back. We came as a huge group and ordered a bunch of appetizers and entrees to share. The food here was delicious and flavorful. They have a lot of middle eastern dishes to choose from and you can’t go wrong with whatever you select! I highly recommend the hummus, babaganoush, fetoush salad, combo platter and French fries. A great restaurant near Paterson!
Armenian food made with love! The location is clean and has armenian art displayed. The staff is friendly and brought us complimentary hummus and pita bread. We had the grilled salmon with camaralized onions and leeks and the filet mignon kebab platter
Food was awesome. Try the mixed platter, dolmedes, tabuleh, all of them are perfect,and the falafel is the best. I couldn't give a 5 because they only have one waitress so the service may need some improvement.
