It's really unfortunate because they have excellent chicken. Tonight, I went in to place an order, but there was a significant language barrier with the woman at the counter. I thought we were managing to communicate fairly well, but then she abruptly stopped assisting me to clean the oil pans or whatever it was in the back. I stood there for 10 minutes as the only customer, and instead of helping me, she chose to focus on cleaning. I even asked the cashier if someone else could assist me, but they didn't understand what I meant. As a result, I ended up going to KFC instead, which also has good chicken, albeit at a higher price. They started out slow in the beginning but now operating like well oiled machine. I no longer have to go to the 23rd St location. Saves me time. Absolutely one of my favorite places to get southern style fried chicken. Better than them other fried chicken guys!!
The chicken is consistently good and the biscuits are to die for. They now have Samosas they cook them fresh to order. Everything is cooked to crispy perfection. This is one of my guilty pleasures I don't eat it often but if I could I would.
