We weren’t impressed previously so didn’t go back for a couple of years and we are glad we went back. We had the banquet. The food was lovely particularly the Kari Curry and Fresh Ta Krai. They weren’t overly spicy even though we requested spicy....Medium at best but lovely flavour. Rice was a little disappointing but my partner said he was happy to have it. Service was good especially as it was in the second night they were open for dine in after COVID restrictions were relaxed. We felt very comfortable with the temperature checks, amount of allocated, availability of sanitiser etc. definitely not long some restaurants and cafes I walked past earlier in the day. We will definitely go back.
my first time to eat and I must say the service has badly sunk this restaurant. the waitress was abrupt, from the beginning to the rude, and when we had put an order on a drink we had not told them, I could see it clearly in the regal. the net slowly came out with a waiting period of about 10 minutes when the first meal arrived until the last person on our table got her. there were only six of us. that said eating was wrong. very tasty and good portion sizes. they need to brush their customer service skills.
we were scattered about 10 times and took about 20 times away. great to get away. dive a few we enjoy the banquet. so much eat really nice. because it is renovation it is not excessive environment, but great as local dinner...spot there is nothing excessive imagination about eating, but it is a day to day art delicious and I could breathe the masseurin bark curry the satay dip sauce! delicious.
We booked a week in advance a dinner for 4. We didn’t leave a recorded message but spoke directly to a young lady who took our booking down. So we arrive for dinner on Friday 10th at 7pm to find the restaurant closed.. no phone...call , just a sign apologising. Obviously something catastrophic must have happened, but how about a courtesy call to those who had made bookings. Unacceptable

This quaint Thai Restaurant is tucked away nears the surrounds of Patterson Lakes. The food is magnificent and authentic Thai. We ordered a variety of dishes and none disappointed us. The restaurant decor creates a wonderful atmosphere that is commensurate with the food that they...serve. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a quality dining experience.
My family had dinner at this charming restaurant. The place is tidy and well-maintained. We tried the soft shell crab and fried calamari starters. The calamari was delicious, but the crab was lacking flavor, except for the sweet and sour sauce it came with. Both main courses, the red curry and green curry, were excellent. They were flavorful and authentic.
We went for our second visit this week. The food is delicious and hard to match or beat elsewhere. We ordered the same as the previous time as it was hard to beat and also good value. My only complaint is the size of the Roti serve (compared to the local Indian restaurant). Otherwise happy to return again soon!
This is a lovely looking restaurant with friendly staff and value for money, yummy food.The menu has a good vegetarian selection.We had a banquet and all of the food was delicious. The green curry was one of the best we have ever eaten. The fried rice is really good too.We will definitely go back to Kun Yao.

Ordered two soups for home delivery, both arrived half full. After a quick phone call we received two more full soups that were perfect in flavour and quantity. The chicken Pad Thai was equally as satisfying!
we have ordered them take away over 15 times and dinates several times. if you dive, try the banquet! it is a very generous and delicious offer. Take away is really nice.
