I hate to post bad reviews when I know what effect it can have on a business but I always try to be honest and objective. I visited this place with my girlfriend and personally found it pretty unsatisfactory. When we arrived and sat down no one met us or greeted us and we only came to the staff's attention when I went over and picked up a menu myself. This is a tiny restaurant so we should not have been missed. We ordered beef teriyaki and ginger pork with miso and plain rice plus two asahi. The beers were excellent, served in a chilled glass. The food arrived promptly and was hot. My Teriyaki was probably the worst presented one I have ever had and it looked and tasted like Chinese stir fri...
This a favourite of mine for a quick or slow lunch on the weekend. The impeccably clean little space turns out gorgeous fried dishes and some great sushi and sashimi. there are a small number of pavement seats out front which are so pleasant on a sunny day plus you get to see the world go by as you marvell at thier great food.
Had several different types of items; all were excellent. Better than anything I had from the restaurants while staying at the Darling Hotel.
Quick and easy Japanese food; I had the ramen and it was a good sized meal for the price. Not bad value I would return.
