We wanted a drink with the intention of having a meal. I ordered a campari soda, they had no idea what was soda, so I had Perrier water with it. I asked for ice cream in my drink so that the young blonde haired female bartender... wanted to put her hand in the ice cup and put a block in my drink that she had held on the edge. I was shocked, but I said I would like a lot more. Then she put both hands in the ice cup and put more in my drink. Then I went out of the drink. I asked her if she always used her hands to get ice, she said it wasn't wrong with my hands! I was disgusting when a dirty gypsum was. I refused the drink and asked for a fresh one. Visited this last weekend(bank holiday) with 2 yacht clubs-on 2 nights.The menu was very good and varied-with hot food cooked over wooden fire.Choices of 4 from each of the 3 courses.As by sea go for seafood-those that selected oysters were very happy.When you come to main course several of us paid the 2 euro supplement to get vegetables as well as rice/mashed potatoes/chips.Did not want to only have one without the other-well worth it.Mixed veg was served up and plentiful.In house wines were good and included -if went for drinks offered-started with a kir with cider/wine.Overlooks harbour and out to sea.Plenty of parking-no charges.
the food taste was blend and not so tastythe service was not very good, our server seemed annoyed to work and bored. the fish i ordered had so many spines i spent lot of time removing it. not many choices in the menu either for good fish despite the fish locationthe price was too high for the quality of food the place was loud the view was nice and the waiter manager was helpful when we wanted to get more food or order
This was our second meal here. The first was ok but it was very busy however the second meal was in a quiet restaurant and was poor in every aspect. The rather sullen and snotty waitress was not helpful, the main course was not good although quite pricey. We didn't bother with a dessert and went somewhere else for a brandy and coffee. Very convenient when you have arrived by yacht and it is raining. Apart from a small disagreement over the numbers booked where the staff handled it badly the new waitress was very good. The food was above average, an excellent mixed seafood starters, a very...good entrecote steak, and wonderful desserts.
We were a large group staying at the marina and had arranged to eat at the restaurant for one night. The food was good and nicely served, but it took a long time to arrive. Consequently it was very late when we finished. It think the service issues are unlikely to be such a problem for smaller groups.
The food was quite disappointing: the ordered turbot seemed to be a tiny fillet, French pommes clog together... Entrecote ordered medium was well done. Not even the slightest excuses of the waiters. And an invoice, which was between reasonable and quite high, should be all... very good.
Have eaten here many times and also enjoyed the bar for a few beers. Great view over the marina to the English Channel with good food and service. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The food was excellent, the oysters too. I recommend the turbofish with Risotto. The staff was pretty friendly. Good experience.
