A very basic, authentic, rustic, beach side oyster shack with superb oysters, shrimp and white wine all at an unbelievable bargain! The staff mother/daughter team) are friendly and the menu is simple-4 sizes of oysters, one choice of white wine and a few types of shrimp. Be prepared, when it rains here it really pours but the outdoor only seating has plenty of large umbrellas. Great view and fun to watch the fisherman scurry in and out from their boats....will be back for sure!!!
It's the big heart of our walk in the cap ferret. the service is particularly cared for, darling the saint bernard who is the mascot of the house adds a friendly side that we enjoyed. We eat delicious shells in front of the beach, a cabanon atmosphere of a sin-free sinner at a small price, the environment is heavenly. We will return to spring.
Stopped here for lunch while biking to Cap Ferret. So glad we did. The staff were smiling, friendly and quickly accommodated us. The oysters were so fresh and the rose shrimp some of the best we've ever had. Everything, the bread, fish, wine, was excellent and all with a beautiful view of the water and oyster beds. Terrific place.
we didn't like a beach hut with views of the basin, possibility of eating or shelter. The 80s, the shrimps the dough with the pepper everything is perfect personal thank you super nice. We didn't have a very good time with the holy bernard who reigns in the seating. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
A classic “must do” for any oyster lover. On the waterfront set amongst the working oyster huts of Cap Ferret, La Baraque serves the big and best oysters I’ve ever tasted. Friendly service and five star location. So much more authentic than a restaurant.
This was a great find with excellent service, wonderful food and great views across the bay. The staff are friendly and welcoming and I had a very enjoyable afternoon. I look forward to my next visit.

There is nothing else to add except that they were very reasonably priced as well. The cats are very entertaining into the bargain.
