My wife, daughter (18 years old) and I were quite apprehensive walking towards "La Barberie." It is located in a very unattractive (but safe) part of the town, just under the flyover near to the train station. However, once you get inside the building and grounds you realise that it is a little oasis. Very pleasant and large side patio (not talking about the one at the front of the building), with plenty of greenery. The woman who served us was very friendly and their own micro-brewery beers that I tried were very pleasant indeed. We were there around 2 pm on a weekday, it was not crowded and the atmosphere was very friendly and relaxing. More of a middle-aged clientele with not a yob in sig...
I have to rate this place poorly solely based on their poor customer service. I have never been to a bar where the bartender cashes you out after one drink, without even asking if you'd like another. A bartender cashing me out after my first drink is basically telling me they don't want me to give them any more money. So I didn't. In my opinion, just go Noctem or Korrigane instead. Their beer is better and the staff is very friendly.
I'm not a beer drinks so I can't really give my opinion on the quality of the beer. The atmosphere reminded me of an old style tavern...rough around the edges and not very clean. A lot of locals just chillin. The variety of beers was extensive, trying the flights gives you a good idea what this brewery produces. It's not too far to walk from the old town and a lot of cool things to see along the way
this small microbrewery offers an excellent choice of good beer for all tastes. they offer small succulent meals that you can enjoy on their beautiful little terrace. You can even bring your little lunch and enjoy a good beer. friendly place between friend and very welcoming staff. to discover without fault. Thank you for shaking them. beautiful initiative this small cooperative to quebec.

the terrace is good and the friendly staff. There are several board games, which allows you to spend a good time taking a beer. There's not a lot of choice to accompany the beer of a snack, but I figured we could bring our food. There are some beers that are good, but also others that are very special, like a lime and ginger.
It was my first visit to that microbrewery. good choice of bieres, beautiful terrace. The only small flat is the fairly expedient service. We must pay as soon as we first order. all the microbrasserie I visited is the only one that works this way.
I always thought that the barbery was in a park (we see so much green on the pictures). So I was very surprised to see that it was below a highway viaduct! I enjoyed an excellent beer in a warm atmosphere!
We had the flight of 9 beers to sample first (they have even more than this on tap). All very different and distinct. We really enjoyed their offerings.

Very good beer and good terasse. definitely a good place if you want to drink a beer and relax or chat.
