Ordinarily I would skip Valentines as even the poorest of restaurants would be busy. We were in Troyes though for the weekend and so we had to get booked up not that I had actually done the bookings. Two couples, we got a fine rounded...table on this quirky boat moored very centrally in Troyes and with the lights and river it all looked a romantic setting. The restaurant quickly filled up, it was a set menu but the food was pretty good. Canapes were lovely, the very very thin scallops wasn’t really my thing but the fillet rossini was good too. Some bubbles, a Chablis then a Nuits St Georges with the main. It was a good night just a little hurried, given the evening it was doing well though....
For a long time I promised to discover this place, I did it at a dinner end of the year with friends. a little disappointed, inside except seeing the water from the portholes you don't feel so much about a boat (that's what attracted me to the base) as we were many we diner outside on the terrace that also serves as a sidewalk, thus making the quality of the dishes, it was quite correct and well served, but without very great originality the servers very friendly
We booked a table here as it was very close to our excellent accommodation (Maison M) and were not disappointed. The setting is unique certainly our first time! The food was good although not the highest culinary experience (think up-market gastro-pub) and the...staff were very friendly. Certainly worth a visit for an enjoyable dining experience.
Well overall:- service rather fast and efficient but perhaps a little cold.- satisfactory and well-presented dishes, fresh products a little expensive and especially damage that fresh fries are frozen.- nice place, cleaned a little just above all when you go down to the toilet and the kitchen door is open and you see a large filled trash!

Flotte und nette Bedienung. Half beim Übersetzen ins Englische. Sehr gut auch optisch servierte Gerichte. Dabei geschmacklich auch Top. Abseits des touristischen Massengeschäfts, trotzdem im Zentrum gelegen. Zu empfehlendes Restaurant auf altem Lastkahn im Wasser und mit Terassenplätzen!
I was waiting for a good evening in this unusual restaurant eating on a barge, seemed pretty nice. Place not very clean, bad smell in the room. very average meal we make the same kitchen at home. I absolutely don't recommend this place.
If you visit Troyes, the barge is well worth a trip. The food is very good and you can find delicious typical French food on the menu as well as gourmet hamburgers and the like. Lovely staff and nice setting.
very nice to have dinner on a barge, very pro and nice staff. the dishes are on top: andouillette, risotto and house ice creams, damage we stayed only one evening, but we will return!
