The absolute worst restaurant in St Malo, and I must have eaten in half of them. No atmosphere. Worst fish and chips of my life. Should have put it straight in the bin. Microscopic piece of fish in greasy batter and a mountain of over cooked chips for 15€, I ate the tiny piece of fish and a few chips, thank God for the basket of bread or I would have starved. I offered to pay 10€ or nothing as I'd eaten the microscopic fish and drunk a glass of wine. He threatened to call the police. I told him the only crime that had been committed was putting that plate of **** in front of me instead of straight in the bin. Maybe the rest of the otherwise French menu is ok, I'll never know as I won't ever...
A proximité de la Porte St Vincent, il y a pléthore de brasseries, burgers, kebabs, pizzas et crêperies.Il y a aussi un restaurant traditionnel qui fait de la cuisine : c'est la Bisquine, qui tranche donc avec ses confrères. D'ailleurs, quand vous vous installez, vous vous rendez compte que la clientèle est en moyenne un peu plus âgée que celle des établissements voisins.Pour notre part, nous avons pris le menu à 36 euros, et nous avons trouvé que les plats servis étaient plus que correctes. Ma poêlée de ris de veau était excellente.Une mention particulière pour le sorbet cassis arrosé (généreusement) de crême de cassis : le tout était d'une puissance exceptionnelle.Sans être riche, la carte...
Nice little restaurant in the outer walls of the Intramuros at St Malo. Good food at reasonable prices (not cheap but also not very expensive). A nice alternative to all the crêperies. The formules offered a good choice for each of two or three courses. Great service. Not constantly pressing to move you on (admittedly this was a Tuesday evening so not too busy). If you're pressed for time, be sure to tell the server because they leave plenty of time to enjoy people watching between courses.
Although the quality of the food was excellent, the portion of meat was really very small. I suggest that 6 prawns would be more appropriate for a main course. The price is high for the amount of food served, it is not caviar. Please also note that there were errors on the bill, and not just for our table.

Good food but service was very poorly. We came in a group and they didn't try to put at the same table. Decoration is poor. Besides, they are very STINGY (only 1 slice bread per people LOL... , 1 small top water per table... I won't recommend this restaurant anyway.
Nous avons pris deux formules à 19 euros chacune entrées/plats/dessert avec des plats tres bon et très bien présentés. Les quantités sont parfaites et le service est rapide et agréable ! Foncez !
Service et personnel impeccable.Présentation des plats soignée et on mange à notre faim pour une note très attractive.À refaire pour notre prochaine venue sur St Malo
Good value set menu's for the quality. Take time to enjoy the evening here, not a quick bite to eat. You shouldn't be disappointed.
