I ordered the ATL Pupusa, while my fiancé opted for the chorizo pupusa. Unfortunately, our food was mislabeled, and after taking a few bites, we realized we had swapped orders. I brought this issue to the attention of La Bodega and requested that they remake our food. However, they refused and asked us to return the food we had already eaten, stating they wanted to serve it again.
I also noticed that the towels they used for cleaning were brown and dirty instead of being white. An El Salvadoran woman came out to address us, and when I mentioned that the customer is always right, she bluntly replied that they are not. Her attitude was completely rude, and I stated that we would never return...

I was working while dealing with a migraine and suddenly realized I needed to eat—fast. I quickly checked Yelp for an affordable yet tasty breakfast option. Thankfully, I found this place, and it was exactly what I needed! Being a vegetarian, I ordered the bean, cheese, and egg Pupusa (Desayuno- PP) along with a chai latte made with oat milk. While I wouldn’t choose the drink again, I will definitely return for more Pupusas. I’m considering trying the Horchata drink instead since it had positive reviews.
I would highly recommend this place—definitely a 10/10! The food, desserts, atmosphere, and service are all incredible. It used to be a random spot on the map, but now it’s something I eagerly anticipate each week. Everything was absolutely amazing, though I did notice that it was a bit greasier than I expected. Still, it was so delicious! Just be prepared for that. Please make sure to visit and definitely try a shake!

I had never tried pupusas before visiting this place, and now I'm completely hooked. They’re like handheld corn pockets filled with various meats. Be patient when ordering, as they’re made fresh to order, but they're served hot and delicious. For a quick lunch, you can get two pupusas and a can of soda for around $10. Don't expect to feel overly full, but they'll definitely get you through lunch!

However, when I checked the order, I realized it was missing items that I had paid for. They refused to issue a refund for the incomplete order, which left me very disappointed with their business practices.

I order from here at least once a month or even more often! I always make large orders for my job, and La Bodega never lets me down. The Hawaiian Pupusa is my favorite! Every time I've visited, the staff has been fantastic. Today, Shay assisted me, and I had an incredible takeout experience! She was super sweet!

Great atmosphere in the west end! The signage at the Met could use some improvement, but I love the overall vibe.
